Own Or Starting A Night Club? Use A Bar/Night Club Management Web Site That Works!

Many people wonder if the training they received in bar/night club management was correct. They want to go on their own, or manage a larger place, but don't feel confident. Is this you?

That's why you need to read all the pages on this site. It's well rounded. It talks about many different subjects of which they all come into play when managing or owning a bar or nightclub.

The bar and nightclub business is unforgiving. You better do it right the first time.

I have searched the internet and have not found a site, or an article, written by someone with first hand bar/night club management and ownership experience. Maybe there is one out there, and I haven’t found it.

Not only we will talk about bar/night club management, but also about training, advertising, costs, partners and investors, insuring logevity, employee turnover, security, reinventing yourself, added revenue, customer service, problem solving, and a host of more topics.

You will find many topics to review. Take your time and read all the pages. You'll start to find out that all facets of the night club business make a successful business. Not just one.

So, did you ever wonder...

Let’s get started.

First and foremost, education is the key.

And it doesn't have to be a formal education. What I mean by education is experience in this industry. Without the experience in this industry, you will never understand what to do and why you do it. You also get to understand all positions so you know how to manage and fix when things are not running correctly.

Too many people in the night club and bar industry happen to be, know it alls. You know who they are. It’s crazy to have an ego that large. I believe you are always learning. If you fail to want to learn, you only hurt yourself. And the night club industry is no different. Education is key. So, you should always keep an open mind in everything you do.

So, do you want to learn more about bar/night club management? Come in and look around. Many owners and bar/night club management think that you just open a large room. Like the saying “if you build it, they will come”. I don’t think so.

Also, let me point out something before going any further. You cannot compare places like Las Vegas, South Beach, or L.A. to what you want to build in your area. These people can afford to spend millions of dollars on one night club. These are resort destinations. This is not a reality for the other ninety nine percent of us starting a night club.

If bar/night club ownership sounds exciting, it is. And this excitement draws people of all ages, walks of life, and financial conditions. And they want to be a part of this, and have one of their own. What they don’t understand is two fold. First, it’s not all fun and games. It’s a business, remember! Second, you can’t start a night club with no experience or education.

The night club business is just like most businesses in that you have to learn the business before you can manage, or own one. Make sense? It should. The best place to start is at the bottom. If you learn what each job in the business entails, then you can understand how it all fits together. This, in time, will enable you to make correct decisions about a variety of different subjects because you’ve “been there, done that”.

This site is a basic overview of bar/night club management. It's not the "final" word in this industry. It provides you with basic education and concepts. It's a great place to start to understand this industry.

I wish you all good health and prosperity.

All the best, Norm
